This is the first building Pablo Escobar bought in Medellín. It's going to be turned into offices for the police department soon.

The complex at the top of the photo is the "prison" that Pablo Escobar had built for himself as part of a deal with the government. He continued to run his drug empire from here until Colombia, international pressure, passed a constitutional amendment that would allow is his extradition.

This is a bullet hole in the window of a house that belonged to Pablo Escobar's mother. Years after Pablo's death, a group of armed men came to house try to find buried money they believed is still there. The police showed up and they were killed in a shootout.
